About Me
My name's Matthew, and I'm an independant game developer, with an interest in web development and writing.
I have split my Hubpages account from my normal online profile, because I think it's more interesting writing anonymously (to a degree).
My Interests
Game design, programming, advertising, web development, marketing, film, writing, social media, travel, ecommerce, online security, books, graphic design.
My Life
I have always disliked the 9 to 5 daily grind that most people are happy to fall into. I spend a lot of my time trying to develop my own income sources, and I plan to continue to do this for as long as it is necessary.
I plan to have a full time passive income and my own successful business within 10 years.
Sometimes I'm a little lazy, and I can be distracted too easily, but I do tend to work hard on my projects and I am always willing to learn new skills to progress.
This has left me with a somewhat varied skill pool, though I know I still have a lot to learn.

Why I'm On Hubpages
I'm writing for Hubpages because I enjoy the flexibility to write about whatever I feel like. I am particularly interested in the community and social aspects of Hubpages.
Of course, a passive income would be nice too!
My Hubpages Goal
The plan is to publish hubs casually and establish myself in this community. My initial goal is to build a readerbase and improve my own writing.
I have seen others set themselves challenges, such as 30 hubs in 30 days -- I may try this in the future as well. I am tracking my progress on Hubpages and one day I would like to publish a hub about my experiences.
